Cannon Beach

Location: Cannon Beach, OR     |      Hat: Target     |     Bracelete: Victoria Emerson     |     Top: Loft (old)     |     Denim: Vigoss Denim Cannon Beach is one of my happy places here in Oregon. It’s so beautiful! Texas beaches are nothing like this. The best part is that it’s only an hour and a half away from us. Any drive in Oregon is mind blowing to us still. Don’t get me wrong, I loved Texas from the bottom of my heart. But driving through the state is an absolute nightmare! It’s completely flat, dry and there isn’t really...

Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival

2017, Travel

Do yourself a massive favor when you come to Oregon and explore a tulip festival! Then go at sunrise and you’ll really thank me! I know that sounds amazingly painful. Waking up at 4:30 a.m. Having to put yourself together on your day off. Y’all just have to give me a chance on this one, it was surreal! You could see Mt. Hood in the background as the sunrise approached and how could you not love the tulips surrounding you? Make sure you go towards the end of April. It’s when the most tulips are bloomed! We went the first weekend it opened and it was essentially just a walk in the mud with...

Vest: JCrew      Jeans: Nordstrom     Backpack: Kate Spade (Similar Here and OBSESSED with this Here)     Boots: Target Photographer (she’s amazing!): Nicole Hart Photography  Hey y’all! I just thought I would throw together a little life update for everyone since it’s been a minute since I’ve blogged! A LOT has happened in the last few months. For starters, Michael and I moved to Portland, Oregon. That’s right folks, we packed up and moved from Texas. And you know what? It’s  been the experience of a lifetime. Both of us have been wanting to move to the Pacific Northwest for so long now and we both just ran with...

Prada Marfa

Travel

Is it just me or did anyone else think the Prada Marfa building didn’t actually exist? It wasn’t until a few years ago I came to the realization this was a real place and had to go before I leave Texas. Before Michael and I ventured off into the middle of no where (literally) we did some research on the surrounding areas we could potentially visit during the trip. I couldn’t exactly convince Michael to drove over 8 hours just to see one iconic art piece. As it turns out, there is so much to do around this little piece of life! The drive over was also beautiful. You don’t drive by...
