It snowed in Portland, y’all! And it was beautiful. The one thing I don’t miss about Texas would be it’s lack of seasons. The Pacific Northwest blew Michael and I away. Especially right now with the amazing snow days 🙂 Speaking of seasons and snow, I had to invest in some sweaters after we have moved here! This JCrew camel sweater is a staple. The reviews online were a little scary. This sweater is supposed to fall apart first wash. I still invested because I loved the color not to mention it’s a ‘high-low.’ It’s still holding strong after being worn several times! No pilling at all. I personally wash it alone on delicate and lay to dry. I’m honestly the worst at laundry. Trust me when I say I already know theres probably an even better way to care for this.
Gold jewelry generally doesn’t compliment my pale skin. Which is why I love this monogrammed necklace from BaubleBar. I’ve had it for a about a year now, it’s become a staple! It’s a white marble texture and is so easy to pair with anything. I actually love pairing it with this camel sweater.
The black over the knee boots and jeans really make this camel sweater pop. Frankly, I’ve never met a camel/black combo I didn’t like. I purchased these boots from F21 last season before a trip to NYC. Realizing I didn’t want to spend a lot on a pair that would get destroyed on the NYC streets I opted for these for less than $30. They held up so well y’all. They’re great for petite girls too and don’t slide down your leg when you walk. Anyone else hate that?! I linked a similar pair above that are just as great and at a good price!
